The kingfisher shots are impressive. I've been trying for the past week to get a decent flight shot of one of those sneaky little boogers, but have been unsuccessful so far. Just getting close to them is a real challenge.

You must have the patience of Job. Capturing the KF in flight is something that I have tried many many times.

Very nice Kingfishers, hard bird to get close to just for a still shot. Well down

It's hard enough to get Kingfishers in-frame, much less in focus. Nicely caught!

You did well on the KF. Were you shooting freehand, Bush Hawk or tripod?

Thanks guys, these images were handheld. I very seldom use the tripod anymore.

The Kingfisher looks very aerodynamic in flight. Great pictures.
