I put the 'baby snail' on its mother's shell and photographed them on a glass plate.
As snails are always moving it was more difficult than I had thought it would be.

This is definitely an animal cruelty issue. Once all the other animals see this post they will be especially harsh in their teasing.

You are also remiss in not making this brilliant image a caption contest.
