This thread is in response to izanaki's question regarding lenses for a 5D & 1DIII. There were a lot of useful responses there, but I like data from polls, plus more people typically respond. I tweaked the polled information to suit my needs and budget. Thanks for your responses. |

For my last wedding, I shot the entire ceremony with sigma 50 on my 5D and the 85/1.8 on my 30D. The chapel was a bit smaller than some of the churches I've shot in. One of the options I'm considering that wasn't in the poll is the 35L and the 100/2. This isn't an option I've considered before, but I know it's a really nice lens. I'm a little nervous about not being able to reach past 100mm. |

It looks like I made a jump. I'll be selling my 70-200 2.8L IS. Paul at LensProToGO announced his regular sale, and I picked up a 135L and 35L. I think it will be a good trade. |
