Did you check to see if the switch on the lens is mid way between the A and M settings? Also a dirty contact point on the lens (seeing as though it doesn't affect your other lenses). Good luck. |

Cleaning the contacts with rubbing alcohol always fixes mine when this occurs. it usually happens when I either don't use any af-s lenses for a while and the contacts on the camera get dirty or haven't used a particular lens in a while and the lens contacts get dirty. |
