Good street shooting, although in the third shot the man's stare is a bit unsettling.
When you say the color version tells a different story- do you mean it tells us that all the "litter" is not litter at all, but merely fallen autumn leaves?

Charlie, you are very observant, figured it all out.
There was very little garbage in the park, most what you see on the ground were leaves indeed.

About that guy, some people are just a bit "shy" in front of the camera.
