I haven't been around here much - spent most of the warm months shooting birds and the last month playing with a new printer (Canon pro9500 MkII). It does terrific b&w prints. Anyway, got one from this morning that I liked. It's the only interesting building in this podunk town and when the sun hits it right, the wall artiste's handiwork is really alot of fun.

The stop sign shadow had me remembering Pilgrim's Progress.

A lot to like in this one. I love the play of light and shadows on that wonderfully textured wall. Bravo!

As said the light and the shadows work well on this terrific wall. Well done.

Thanks Ray and strg. There's alot more to the wall but it's hampered severely by trees and powerlines. Makes me want bring a chain saw and bolt cutters next time.

Excellent composition!
Love the shadowed stop/street signs alongside the rather inviting women.
I'm thinking this is maybe a bit more "Puritan's Peril"?

Beautifully seen and photographed.
About the shadow of the stop sign (and street-name signs)- I have entirely mixed emotions. They are jarring to my senses, but I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Only the photographer knows for sure.

Like the textures, the images, and I do not even mind the stop sign shadow. Somehow it frames the shot for me
