I am having difficulty importing RAW files onto my MacBook Pro via Lightroom 2.0 lately. I think the 5D has basically been too slow to use as an image source since upgrading to Snow Leopard, so I've just been putting my cards into the 40D, as it still transferred files efficiently. Then, this past week, I'm having problems getting the images off the 40D! I don't get all the files off of the card, and have to keep going back, checking, and trying multiple times to get them all off. Have any of you had this problem? I wonder if I should upgrade to Lightroom 2.5? |

Try a card reader. |

How are you importing? Using a card reader or direct from the camera? Why not update to the latest version? 2.0 was made to work under Leopard. |

Yea, I will update Lightroom and see. I have a card reader, but have never had problems with my cameras before Snow Leopard, hence, the question. Thanks! |

I have the same issue with my 40d and lightroom runnign snow leopard on my macbook pro. I just bought a card reader and import my photos that way, seems to be a bit faster anyway. |

Thanks Porsche917! I've started using my card reader and it is perfect. |
