Late yesterday, I ventured back to the park near my home to capture the last glimpse of color in our area. Unfortunately, I will be away for work during the next three weeks. When I return, it will have disappeared. ![]() Modified with more contrast (Simon suggestion), and a bit more sharpening. ![]() New Revision: ![]() I have often noticed a degradation of images once I post them to my server. Does anyone else experience this? Please let me know which one you prefer. Cheers, Ed |

You captures some beautiful light here Ed. I love the feel of it. Great coloring especially with these bright reds. Comp works great too. |

Hello Ed, a beautiful scene and well captured. I prefer the first one. Actually, I would have said less sharpening, and the contrast increase cost you some cloud detail. |

+1 on Jim's suggestion - that combination of the sky from the first and the trees and waters from the second would be a killer image. |

The first for me, Ed. I prefer the more subdued light and hues of the evening. JMHO |

Thanks to all for great input. It's always appreciated. I am on the road for the next few weeks, and will play around with this when I get back home. |

Great image! I would go in between the two or.., when you increase the contrast make that layer a luminosity layer so that the colors don't over saturate. Excellent work. |
