I have an old XP computer and a new Win7 computer.Easy transfer is on both computers. The instructions for the XP ver say to install my programs on the new machine before using WET. The instructions for the WIN7 machine say to do the transfer first, then install the programs... WTF!! |

Follow the wizard on your Windows 7 machine. It will install the transfer utility to your external hard disk (assuming that is how you are doing the transfer). Run this on your XP machine which will save the programs/settings/data to your location of choice (an external disk is a good choice here). Once done, connect this to your windows 7 machine and run the wizard again and it will guide you through it. |

Thanx guys. The monitor just started working, so I was able to use WET - it took all day - I just finished... |
