Man I love that. Used to live right next to the Milwaukee Road tracks in Milwaukee growing up and couldn't wait until the HIAWATHA came through. Different engine but what a locomotive and beautiful as heck. Any chance you have this shot in color too, know it's the BW forum but I would love the know the color scheme, pretty please. That's a GG1, these were still running between NYC and Wash DC when I first hired on the RR in 1979. |
