I was given a Lensbaby 2.0 and was told I can use it on my D80 and D90 camera. There is absolutely no way I can mount it on either camera, am I missing some kind of adapter or something...or was I misinformed or just stupid?

Haven't used Lensbaby's but my first question would be is it a Nikon mount? I guess it's possible it was mislabeled.

Hi LA_Sportsman thanks for the reply, it says on the label it is for Nikon F mount cameras.

As far as I know there's no adapter for lensbabies. Like other lenses there are dots to align the lens i think. Maybe check with whom you got it from?

Hmm, ok thanks aFrIcanSH. The person I got the lens from bought it at a garage sale and gave it to me as a gift. They really dont know much about it as do I. I searhed Youtube, and Google but no luck.

I called Lensbaby support but they are closed for now. Guess I'll have to wait for Monday morning unless anyone else can make me the wiser.

Appreciate it everyone

I am using another version but it mounts easily, and based on the pictures, there shouldn't be any problem...

Mystery solved guys, took it over to my neighbors on a hunch, it is for Canon, it fit on his 20d perfectly. Weird that this could have happened because the seal on the box was never broken so I guess you were right LA_Sportsman it was labeled incorrectly.

you should contact lensbaby and tell them about this snafu...maybe they can help you out. And the Nikon one should fit on your D90 just like any manual focus lens would, just I suspect you'll have to meter manually.
