A happy Bedouin- didn't even ask for baksheesh. A smile and friendly thank you from me was payment enough.
Scanned from a slide.

*Added another camel shot:

Good shot of the friendly dude.
I like the way they dress up the camels.

Cool.
I'm curious about the colors in the camel's blanket, or whatever the saddle stuff is.

Thanks, Lazlo and Scott.
I don't know why they dress up the camels that way- but then, I don't understand all the jacked-up 4X4s with gigantic wheels and tires that all the unshaven rednecks have in rural Oregon either .

Color version is on People Forum- search<key word- Charlie's Egypt. I think the title is "I'd rather have a camel."

Good to see these in b/w. I like being able to contrast and compare them to the color versions I've seen.
Side note- Don't you just love animals with a perma-smile like this? Makes me grin to see it. Who knows, they could be miserable. You wouldn't know if from the apparent grin though.

Cool images Charlie. Remember "I'd walk a mile for a Camel"?

Thanks for the feedback, guys.
Yes, Tim ONeill, I remember the "I'd walk a mile for a Camel" cigarette ad.
I also remember this one: "Nine out of ten doctors said they preferred Camels." Of course, some rabble-rousers (I admit nothing) soon changed that to "Nine out of ten doctors- after trying camels- said they preferred women."
Makes you wonder about the other ten percent.
