I have a corrupt card that I need images from. Some of the images display and can be saved but when I try to copy the contents of the card it gives me a corrupt file warning. When I right click on the icon and go to properties it shows there is data there but if I try to view the thumbnail it says no preview available. I would think this is a common problem but the search feature did not give any results. |

There are threads on this in the General Gear forum, but you're probably looking for Rescue Pro which is a program that comes with some of Sandisk's Extreme range of cards. there are others, so do a quick search on the other forum. |

Thanks Steve, I tried using recuva and I got the files onto my hardrive but they still will not display. I tried opening a file in ps and got the message "unknown or invalid jpeg marker type is found". |

Sorry to hear that. I use Rescue Pro for my CF cards and it works great. I use a program called Handy Recovery on my hard drives if I have a problem. It's not free though, so you might want to decide how much those images are worth to you. I've not had any experience with recuva (?). |
