I am going to sell some Canon lenses on this site, and wondered what on earth a "bump" means when you see it in the Buy and Sell forum replies?

I'm sure it's a simple answer but it's not part of my vocabulary.

To explain further...you can 'bump' you own sales thread to the top of the page every 12 hours by clicking the 'bump' button that will appear in your ad (you must be logged in) Additionally, sometimes other members will offer a courtesy or 'friendly bump' because they know you (from previous transactions) or like your product & sales price.

Thanks. That makes sense now. I wondered if it was a price reduction that you had to ask about.
