Most of us are grown ups, but I figured I'd put a warning in the subject line. This shot is from the same set that I took and posted a few days ago, but this one's a little more gruesome.

Tech specs: Canon 40D (F13, 1/250, ISO 100) + a Canon EFS-60mm macro lens with 37mm of extension (2x) + an MT-24EX macro twin flash (-1 1/3 FEC).

Here's a portrait I took after dinner was finished

Portrait is outstanding. And thanks for posting that well before my lunchtime.

Kenny

ps How much working distance you got at 2X?

I didn't measure it Kenny, but if it's anything like the MPE-65 working distance then about 2.5" from the front of the lens.

Excellent shots - esp like #1- looks like a warning look not to come any nearer.

Thanks Dpic_arctic, Brad, Steve, and raystack

@ raystack: The shutter speed I listed is irrelevant -the ambient light was low, and at F13 and ISO 100 there is no natural light in those scenes. Just set your shutter speed to the maximum sync speed that your camera can handle. I may stop including the shutter speed in future images when there is no ambient light in a scene.
