Had to hit up a lacrosse game the other day at the University I shoot for. Was there to get mostly "admissions marketing" images so not to much action inthese. The colors thogh kicked ass so I thought I would share them for that reason. Gotta love the fall in Southern Ontario.

Hi Rick: I love shooting LAX. Yes you have some nice color. Multiple angles good. As you mentioned little intensity. You might consider cropping tighter on some. Image #2 not enough face. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah... usually at this level you'll see more contact/intensity. But, your shots are always dead on Rick no matter the sport and these are no exception. #10 is my fave.

You shoot outdoors too? Wow! Were you blinking and shielding your eyes? Where'd ya place the strobes?

Great set Rick... some GREAT really low angles here, and great pop too. 7, 9, 10 and 11 for faves. Well done.

Thanks guys, as I said it was mainly for admissions marketing photos and if I stray from what I am supposed to be shooting I wouldn't have got anything they wanted ( i have a small attention span).

I had 8 strobes set up 1 at each corner of the field plus 2 at mid filed.........OH wait, that was in my dreams. Believe it or not, I would shoot field over arena any day. Especially Lax, footy & football. I have a feeling you will see a lot more filed sports from me as Brock just agreed to hire me on as their sports photographer as well. Yay! more work.

Rick nice series. Sharp crisp images with great color. Is that Shawn in the background of #9 by chance. There is nothing like the Brock fields in the fall to shoot at. To bad the womens soccer team got knocked out by Laurier on Sat. Thought they might make it to the final four again

Yup, thhat is Shawn in the bg of #9. It would have been nice to see the girls get there, at least the mens lax is heading to the nations capital.
