Experiment with the obvious. Tired of autofocus zeroing in on the net, I moved the focal point down a couple of notches and focused on the bigs' thighs and midsections, and then on the servers' feet. #1 and #2 from endline bleachers, #3 from sidelines. All are in 5x7 format for my website. |

Wow... what must it be like to have that kind of light? I just shot 10 games on Wed. night and the best I could do was 1/400 @ f2.8 @ ISO6400. :-( |

Yeah, John--the light in this gym is about the best in our county. Sounds as if you're shooting in a rebuilt mole tunnel. |
