Well I guess I'd like to see what you guys are running. I've been using XP for the past four years or so. In the process of building an i7 rig with Windows 7. So, how many of you are Windows Geeks or Apple Fanboys? Obviously I'm stereotyping for comic effect, keep your flame throwers holstered boys and girls

I swore I'd never leave XP, but now that Windows 7 has got such good reviews compared to how many people thought Vista was garbage, I've decided to hop on the band wagon. I've voted both XP and Windows 7. I plan to have XP on the AMD X2 4600 machine, and Windows 7 on the i7 920 machine.

Currently XP, though I am looking forward to the switch to Win7 when I build my new rig this winter.

Windows 7 - highly recommended. My other 2 machines run Vista SP2, Vista is no Windows 7

OS X 10.6, Windows 7 for Windows-only apps (via VMware Fusion). Unity view is amazing!

I ditched Windows 5 years ago for Linux, but got so frustrated until I found OS X. I love it so much, and only use Windows when I have to.

Dang, that's true I have VMware running a copy of XP in unity for my vinyl sign software. Totally forgot that was even running windows behind it.

I use a multitude of operating systems. x64 windows is the way to go if adobe CS4 is your thing (64 bit!). leopard is good but dated, and snow leopard has a few nasty bugs. vista is fine unless you are running junk hardware. xp is what you should run on older hardware. linux is ideal for servers.

I was happy with XP for several years to now. Win Vista was, indeed, a stumble from MS.

But tell you this: Windows 7 on my newer notebook is simply a 'blast' for everything I do from CS4 on down!!!

As of yesterday Windows 7... liking it so far, although KUSO Exif Viewer no longer seems to work! ARGH! How does everyone else check exif's on images people post?

Anyway, before yesterday was Vista, which I never hated the way some people seem to have... it was generally pretty quick, and I had few stability issues others seem to have been plagued with.

Still, I welcome anything that is less of a drain and makes things run quicker and smoother and more consistently.

XP on the kid's comp
Vista 32 bit on my desktop
Vista 64 bit on my laptop

and my daughter has a laptop from school running OS7 (I think). Either way, it's a irritating Mac.

Win2k on a few machines, WinXP on others, and Mac Mini 1.42 running 10.4.11. I've got Win7 disks setting at work, I might install it sooner or later. Depends how much I want to give over to DRM.
