Just got back from a busy trip to Mono Lake and Yosemite. The colors were starting to fade by the end of the week...might be something else in some area, but a lot of wind and what not has rendered the majority of the tree leaveless.

here's a few shots from this past weekend on a workshop I was teaching with Stephen Oachs and the Aperture Academy.

Hey Brian,

Cool shots and cool color in these. Definately post these larger. You can post them 800 pix on the wide side.

#1 has exquisite light, i like #2 also - just wonder if there is some distortion in there or maybe the tufa is just bent like that. #3 is quite lovely and has lots of interesting detail.

I like the Mono Lake shot - very nice. The other two are pretty neat images as well but that second one is the winner for my eyes.

Great classic views Brian. I'd be willing to bet that your group was pretty happy with the outcome.
