Outside of Cairo- in Giza. Pyramid and sphinx (whatever the hell is the plural of sphinx?).
Scanned from slides and converted.

Charlie, nice to see two completely different composition of the pyramid and the sphinx.
Like the second one a lot, puts everything in better perspective, makes the sphinx look like a guardian of the bigger structure

+1 to what Lazlo has said. Makes for a nice set.
I'm always amazed at the enormous size.

Oh, and Sphinx is singular. eg - "The Sphinx is itchin' for some shade."

Plural is Sphinxter. eg - "See how their Sphinxters are itching?"

Sorry.

Thanks Lazlo, Tim and ek.
Tim- Most sphinxters live where the sun don't shine. Do you suntan au naturale while standing on your head?

I could answer in words, but it's easier if I show you with a picture.
Nah...better not!
