I recently visited a good friend of mine in NJ. ...... Noelle

We spent most of our time in NYC but managed to shoot the shore's of Jerzzey the evening that I arrived, since Noelle has always claimed she rarely see's GBH, I was on a quest to find the ever elusive and hard to find GBH for her.... The Story as I see it.... so, we headed down to good old South Perth Amboy to have a look for some GBH's... well.. well..well wouldn't you know THREE GBH all standing together in the same location picking up small clams in the muck. WOW Noelle these are hard to find ... I have to admit the GBH were very skittish, but we landed a few keepers in the bunch.

The other photos are really nothing special other than to show you that we made the best out of the limited time we had for shooting, We did however take a trip to the Bronx zoo and DeKorte Park as well, those images can be seen at the end of this series.

Thanks for the view, guys and gals.

Technically this is not the Jerzeeeey Shore. The images were taken in South Amboy along the bay.

I would also like to add that I have only ever seen one GBH there in the last three years.

Cool set of shots, # 1 is a very unique setting for a gbh and I love the pano with the yellowlegs around the grass.

Well honestly the GBH's from the pond in MI are gonna still be my favs Guess we better not hear Noelle whining about the lack of GBH's

A day along any shore is a good day in my book you guys. Kind of cool to get the double KF shot, I am still waiting for my first IF on them that is a keeper! Ewww that gull has that frog right by the 'tenders' ouch!

I think the last monkey has great character, nice shot team

Nice set Chad. The fist one stands out for me - I like the "sheen" on the wing. Did you have to post the 2 of Ant in the grass though??

I just want to know where the South Amboy spot is. I'm not far (in Edison NJ) and need a spot to shot at.

Fantastic shots.
