Some photos I took this morning of the Ares 1-X launch. C&C welcome.

I would have loved to of seen this, but the TV worked out ok I guess. The first two are a bit unlevel, too bad you have the telephone pole in the shot also, im sure it was challenging to get a decent shot from where you were shooting from however.

Actually, they're not unlevel. The rocket canted immediately on ignition.

Im talking about the towers. I was surprised how much it canted right at launch, almost looked as if it was about to hit the tower.

The cant was actually to make sure it didn't hit the tower. I used the lightning arrestors at teh top of the towers for vertical alignment. I'll double-check.

I'm seeing the first two images as slightly tilted to the right as well. Still good captures, though.
