It’s a great opportunity when hovers and bees find out that the inner pistils of purple passion blooms are loaded with pollen. These flowers are so colorful!

Captured with a Canon 30D, Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM lens w/12mm ext. tube and a Diffused Canon MT-24EX Twin Lite

Most at: ISO 125, 1/200th, f/11, MT-24EX on Manual 1/4th pwr

@Michael, I presume that the light is stronger than the light from my DIY Ring Flash...I'm still learning higher mag macro with the MT-24EX...it's getting better.

I really think that the MT-24EX will really become practical once I start shooting with the MP-E 65mm...but that may be awhile.
