I tried several times this year to photograph a butterfly feeding in the Wallflowers that we have at the farm and this shot was the best I could do. I have some tricks up my sleeve that might help me take a better shot next year.

Tech specs: Canon 40D (1/250, F13, ISO 100) + an MPE-65mm macro lens (@2x) + a diffused MT-24EX.

I had some reservations about keeping that second image Brian -I should have tilted the camera to push the upper right corner more into the frame while pulling the lower left back toward me to get that leading leg in focus. I did get the composition that was stuck in my head though

Just to be contrary, I like #2. Kinda reminds me of a beetle I shot recently.
