SO much for fall looks like winter is here in northern Canada.

Taken this evening, C&C is welcomed.

Burrrrr... looks cold...I like the cool colors and the snow cloud at the top of the frame.

Very nice, not to mention the whole "cold as ice" thing goin' on. . .

what was your exposure?

Cheers,

Interesting juxtaposition between the rigidly man-made buildings at the back, the long-exposure "flow" of the waves up front coupled with the trees at the waterfront.

Also, the cloud cover gives that third or fourth band that really pushes the eye back down towards the center.

The inverse of the pinkish/cyanish colors add interest for me as well.

It goes without saying almost, that the blown out pressurized sodium vapor lamp, that's naked/bare on the right side, is probably out of your control but a real visual distraction nonetheless (to me)

@ hildrethjoe - Thanks, actually wasn't to cold out ... yet.

@THD1 - Thank you. hmm? cold as ice would have been a better title. Exposure was 1 sec I believe. I shot it this with my 85mm 1.8 wide open. I took a number of shots with varying stops and exposures with both this lense and my Sigma 12-24mm. Surprising to me this turned out to be the best one IMO.

@sirimiri - Thanks! I think you put more thought into the composition than me! The light, yeah it did bother me so I burned in the centre of the light to at least dampen the halo .. I actually don't mind it too much now.
