I agree, J.R.
And I'll bet you had fun before, during and after taking the photograph, just watching their antics.
The old days of major zoos were pretty bad because they were still taking animals from the wild and sticking them in small cages. Times are much better now, and hardly any animals in good zoos were born in the wild- zoos have breeding programs and exchange animals with each other. And obviously from this photo, the word "cage" has been surpassed by the word "habitat."
In any case, these youngsters are definitely having a good time.
I know they're gorillas, but I just read that chimpanzees share between 90-97% of their DNA with humans. Before getting too excited about it, though, the National Geographic article added that we humans share 40% of our DNA with lettuce .
That's what it said- no fooling. I laughed my head of lettuce off.

I had to do a double-take!
This looks an awful lot like my buddies after some beer blackjack games on a boy's weekend!
Funny stuff!

Thanks Charlie too funny.

Thanks Tim I know exactly what you mean!

They played around like this until one of the big head honcho gorillas came over and tossed one of them away like it was a rag doll. They both had enough of play fighting by that point. It was amazing watching them grapple on the ground. Like a prehistoric MMA
