Scott,
Truly this is my favorite shot I can remember from you. What a great job of capturing the nurturing, bonding moment here. Wonderful selection of tone, too.
I'm normally not a fan of tilts in any respect, but for the first time I really think it adds to the shot with this one.
Bravo!

Scott,
I agree with Timmy's applause- this is a wonderful photograph in every way.
I never imagined it possible to make a cow (and cow-lette ) look beautiful, but you have done it here.
Congratulations to the nth degree!

Wonderful image, Scott, looks almost like Lazlo's technique he uses for his portraits.

Thanks, Steven. I was quite conscious of trying to approach some of Lazlo's technique, although he uses different programs and I'm not sure how he creates the look he does. I'm pleased to have the image compared, in any fashion. One of Lazlo's barn images inspired me to mimic his processing, best I could.

Hey, Lazlo, How did I do?

The spot light on the child`s eye easily atracts my eye.

As you and other's know, I am an admirer of your work and hope to approach your vision and technique at some point.

Wonderful shot. The comp, obviously, is the key here, and you have nailed it. Even better, the conversion compliments the scene as well. Beautiful.

Peace,

Todd
