I love these photos. I like the third shot where you can see Nicky's face looking through the turn, the lean angle is amazing with those bikes and how close his knee is to the ground. I personally like your series of three. Thanks for posting them.

Very nice shots! I might have cropped a little closer on the first 2, but still very nice. The shot of Nicky looks like it was during practice as I think the race was in bright sun. Thanks for sharing and nice first post!

Plus I don't think you would be seeing Talmacsi that close to Hayden in a race ; ' )

super nice shots, Casey is my fav, Rossi is the best and Hayden is da man! I love them all but may be the first one of casey is a tad over, see the white part on the helmet. I am just being over critical too.

Thanks so much for the positive feedback, also take on board that maybe they're a little hot..

All of these were taken in Practice, Hayden had more luck there than in the race!!

Awesome shots! I think the only thing better than taking these pics would be to be riding the bikes! I can't imagine what it would feel like going that fast an low to the ground.

Again, great pics!

Nice work. They might be a little hot, but that's easier to sort than being under.

I REALLY like these. I agree they're a little hot, but not much for my taste...

I like the comp of the 3rd one the most. The first two are pretty stock MotoGp shots, the third has a nice thought out look to it. A bit hot, but that can be fixed. Nice first post.

Thanks for all the comments. I acknowledge that they're a little hot. Here are a couple more>

the first two in that post are nicely done, the first for the two bikes and the nice focus on the lead, the second for seeing the riders eyes and the heat wash from the exhaust.

what makes the last one awesome, IMO, it is cropped too tight, does not show the eyes, the wheels, it is just a close up of his back, and shows how close he gets to the ground...just curious, I like to find out what others think makes an image "awesome"

Artflake, I'm guessing Awesomeness means different things to different people. I posted the last shot expecting mixed reviews.

For me, as a Bike rider and hobby picture taker I really liked the intimacy of the pic, sorta like your inside Rossi's space riding with him. the amazing colours designs and details make the image much more interesting to me and its not so important that the bike doesn't have wheels!! I can also understand from a technical POV that it can be seen as cropped too tight, no eye connection etc.. My girlfriend doesn't "get" this pic but to me I keep going back to it over and over, it holds my interest longer than say the Lorenzo one above.
Maybe its simplistic but to me some Photos are "pictures" and others "images" one moves the mind the other the soul...

thanks for the explanation. Like I said, I like to know what other people see when they look at certain images, everyone has their own connection or insight into them, thanks for taking the time. I appreciate it.

artflake

the last photo has to do with the passion for racing. If you are a racer then you would know Rossi is the best motorcycle racer in the history of the sport hands down. He is the God of motorcycle racing world and to see a photo of him working in his office that close is simply "awesome". The photo is so clear and although there is no eye contact or missing half a bike is unimportant to us (racers). This is God doing what he does best in close-up. It is about passion and emotion, not so about framing and other details ( not to say this photo is bad at all, the colors are vibrant, the image is sharp and the angle is perfect). i hope you understand what i am trying to say here.
