what happened to the thread entitled "glamour shots of the lenses themselves" or something like that... I remember I liked looking at all the different lenses people owned, but I cant seem to find the thread any more. did it get deleted?

That Voigtlander looks like it would be a real pleasure to use.

Here's a pic of the non-ai (I believe) Nikkor 300mm

Anyone know why that main thread (pics of the lenses) was stopped?

No reason, just post on it and it will raise fro the dead... I might do this

EDIT: oh, it's archived already :-(
so it's time to put new ones here

Archived threads on FM cannot be resuscitated, sadly... threads go to the archives once a number of days have past without activity, so to keep a thread alive, keep adding to it.

Nice! (Do get rid of that motor drive. The Noctilux looks much more impressive that way. )

I envy you that lens lineup for sure.. I'm getting closer and closer to just deciding to go with a M8 + 35 1.2 just to see if I like the whole RF-experience on a more day-to-day basis!

The Noctilux isn't mine. I was fortunate enough to borrow it for a while.

I don't know the Nokton 35/1.2, but do consider also the Summicron-M 35mm f/2 ASPH and pre-ASPH, both very good lenses, and about a million times smaller. They can be had for around €1200/900 respectively, IIRC.

That's a impressive zuiko collection you have alexandre!
Some times I too feel tempted by the OM bodies, but I just can't see myself shooting film anymore. I guess my new EP-1 can adress this issue though
