I have had the 7d for about 10 days and have shot about 6000 shots mostly hockey and volleyball. Have been mostly impressed with this camera . I have been shooting with a 30d and 50d prior to the 7d. It definitely has a higher learning curve with all the af focus options. If your interested check out some samples at this site.

I will update settings that I find work well as I get more familiar with the camera and all its options.

The the photo info button the flash pop up should tell you. Judging by the focal length/aperture, they're probably using a 70-200 F/2.8

Hockey shots are with canon 70-200 2.8 1/500 f4 3200iso

Here is one I shot last night with my 7D and 70-200mm. Still trying to work on the focusing with this heavy lens . This is with Horrible florescent lights in the gym. I had it set as IS) 1250 1/250th at 2.8.

This camera is awesome for indoor sports. I have been using mine for basketball and wrestling shooting from 3200 to 5000 ISO and getting shots I could never have with my 40 or 50D

Great shots, you would appear to have the 7D dialed in very well. I would be most interested for you to comment on your current settings with these set of shots and what PP you are doing. Thanks much, love those hockey shots.
