Sorry to hear about your new status as a statistic.

I wonder if I should submit a picture of my IOU that I got from California for my state tax return. It was large, and I can't pay the rent with my IOU, or ironically, my property taxes. No, I'm not bitter.

Thanks Trojanhorse... I hope you get your return soon. I hear they are starting to pay some of them now. I hope that's true!

My tax return was $48. (I filed in February) And that got put hold for several weeks too...but I did finally get it. Economy sucks right now. I do have a lead on a job that I should be interviewing for this week. I'll find out from the agency when she talks to them tomorrow. A temp to permanent (hoping!!) *keeping fingers crossed* ... So far 40+ applications have gone out, got called for 4 interviews, and have not been one of the lucky ones yet. New Kohl's store opened up... 150 jobs...500+ applied. So many out of work. It's sad.

Hi Mary,

Sorry to hear about your being out of work. I hope things turn around soon. I like the angle you chose on this shot.

Best wishes,

Steve S.
