These are a few shots of the vintage series I have been working on for several months now. I have my very first gallery showing of "one" piece in October.

It surprises me too that posts on this forum have A LOT of views and limited comments.
However, "Art" is not for everybody and I rather have a valid comment than a comment for commenting sake.

Although limited in numbers, here are some very talented people posting their work. Look at the works of JSDILL (Jordan S. Dill), his work is awesome.

I like your style Dee.... very original... certainly different than anything I've seen stylistically.

Makes for a great running theme.... And you know how I like almost anything with great old cars.

I really really like the effect you've created here. Call it crumpled paper. The last photo is awesome, looks like it should be an album cover for an old blues record from the '30's....whatever you are doing, keep doing it!

Thanks Terry D...I love old cars also. The ones I've seen of yours are in better shape than the ones I come across.
This old car was sitting in a mechanic's front yard out in the country. I asked permission to shoot and well and hour later. All I could think of was Driving Miss Daisy. Loved that show!

Thanks for your nice comments and taking the time to view. I grew up in a home filled with antiques and a mother that drug me round to aucitions and estate sales. While my own home is more modern, I beleive my roots are coming out in this vintage series.

The crumpled effect is a texture that has been added and blending and erased usings PS4.

They're all wonderful, but I like the #1 & #3 and #3 is best. Choice of color & lighting excellent. Are you using any commercial plug-in or playing with layers and filters?

Aww...thank you Sam!

I love natural lighting and the effects it brings. The original shot of #3 was taken with sunlight streaming across my model's body through the train window. I shoot mainly at the golden hour.

I use Lightroom and PS4 and add textures, (some are my own and others I've purchased or shareware) but basically alot of layering, blending, and erasing for different effects I want to highlight. Lots of playing to get the effect I'm going for. The only commercial plug-in I use is from flamingpear.com.

I'll post a couple of more with some cool lighting.

This is some of the most impressive photography I've seen in awhile. Very well done.

Wow, what awesome pictures! Congratulations! Really inspiring.
But if I were looking to buy them, the size of your signature is a no-no. After all, Leonardo da Vinci didn't sign his paintings quite that large, yet that doesn't seem to have prevented him from achieving recognition and fame...:-)
