I have a Nikon 85mm f/2.8D PC Micro in mint condition. It comes with the Nikon Case as well as Front and Rear Caps. Price: $899.00 shipped or trade see below.

I also have a LNIB Nikon D3, perfect condition with only 2590 actuations on it. It is a USA and comes with everything supplied from the factory(Box, Charger, Battery, Strap, Cables, Software, Manuals, Caps, etc.). Price : Sold

You said that the 85 PC lens is mint but you're asking about half off the brand new price...whats the catch?

I think this 85 PC is not the current 85 PC-E but the previous one. The new one is Nano coated and the old one is not.

However, I have heard that the old version of the 85 being sold here, is still a very stellar lens - but a specialty lens.

Thanks Sanjay for the clarification. Yes, it is the non"E" version. Bjorn Roslett compared both and came to the conclusion that the newer one is a little better at wide open apertures, in middle apertures they are even and at smaller apertures(were you usually a lens like this use) the older version is actually a bit better. Probably a wash overall.
