Hi Guys.

I have had my 5D sitting in my bag for the past few months as a backup and on a recent holiday/business trip to NZ, I shot this video:

Hey Chris that's really nice. Can't wait to see more.

Have you been doing video long?

Thank you for that Chris
I left NZ in 1978. I have been back only twice since. It is where my heart is.
Your video bought back many happy memories.

I now have a 5D2 & hope to get back to NZ (& OZ) next year - If I can create a video 1/4 as good as yours, I would be a very happy bunny!

What video editing s/w do you use?

Wow!

Man that's one awesome video mate. I've linked it to my website (hope you don't mind).

How did you do the slow moving pans, you have a steadycam thingy?

Thanks. It is an amazing place. I fell in love with it last year.

I used a Manfrotto 503HDV video head.

Thanks Steve. This is my first video. I have done a 'behind the scenes' video, but that's it.

No problems Donald!
I used Final Cut Pro. I only just picked it up, so I have allot to learn.

No worries Jack. Glad you enjoyed it.
I used a glidetrack

Awesome video, but from a critical stand point, your cuts seemed choppy and abrupt. you had a slow paced theme with fast paced cuts which threw off the rhythm and didn't give the viewer enough time to absorb the scene.
Slower pans with slightly longer holds would work really nice. though overall a great visual aid.

Very cool stuff Chris. Loved the behind the scenes stuff too (would like to see more!) Any idea if Clarkson is coming back for season 14?

Also, cool site. What are you using that allows me to move through all of your images with the scrollwheel? Never seen that before, but it rocks.

Ridiculously AWESOME. It's like, you have a stunning photograph, and then it suddenly starts moving! Awesome job, makes me wanna own a HD camera as well Nice choice of music as well by the way, Hans Zimmer is the best

I used a ND Grad filter for some shots and then graded the video in CS4.

Really enjoyed watching this along with the other video. Off topic, but how did you get the floor white in the car shoot?
