Hi!

I recently decided to get a contax 28-85 as travel lens. Then i was curious and checked what instead leica had to offer, and i found this 28-90 F2.8-4.5

Did anyone try it? how does it perform?

It has a great reputation but does require mirror surgery on 1ds bodies as well as 5Ds as the rear shroud cannot be removed (it has an attachment to part of the aperture control inside).
