This is my 2nd Summer of doing wedding photography part-time, and I wanted to dabble with wireless triggers so I can use off camera fill flash outdoors for engagement/wedding pictures. |

Get PWs if you'll ever need to rent more on location or if you have a PW module in your meter or lights. Get Cybersyncs if you just want standard, reliable, inexpensive triggers. |

I bought cybersyncs as backups to my pocketwizards but seem to grab the cybersyncs more offer them the pocketwizards. I have found no differences in reliability but enjoy the smaller size. |

The 1/8" jack on many of our cybersyncs wore out after a season of use. The PWs have not after several seasons. |

I owned the Cybersyncs and found them to be a bit cumbersome in comparison to the PW's. What I like most about the PW's is the ability to fire them with the Sekonic L-358. That's the deal breaker for me, since I can light extremely fast this way. |
