What is a reasonable price for a clean used camera ?

To be honest, I wouldn't pay more than $100~$150 for an NX these days, and that price shouldn't be too difficult to find. I had one for a short time, with an N24-85. Then I had the lens converted by Conurus and sold the camera as quickly as possible. Have you considered spending a bit more for an N1, which is a much more rugged and responsive camera?

I was depressed when I sold my NX because I lost a bit of money on it. Using the N24-85 on my 5D cheered me up though.

I bought N17-35 and 24-85...
It kills me that I have to wait until September to convert the lenses.

If my patience run out, I may put all the lenses out for sale.....

Hmmm. I have an NX sitting here not doing anything. I also have an N1, but I'll probably never see that. It will serve as a reminder as to what a near perfect camera looks and feels like.

Same here - got a brand new in box Nx and a brand new N1 with data back. Not sure why the heck I am holding on to them.... nostalgia perhaps.

I have to share the same sentiment as Lotus - The N1 is about as perfect a camera I have used.

Since I no longer have any more N lenses and am practically out of the Canon system, both of mine should be going up for sale shortly. I would be curious to find out what a brand new camera should go for. Ebay has several used Nx bodies that sell for around $125-$150 and used N1's that go for $350-$500.

If you ever shot a converted N17-35 on a FF DSLR, that thought would never enter your mind. It's one of those "Where have you been all my life" moments when you get the converted 17-35 back and take the first couple of shots. Yes, it really is that good.

(Can't say my opinion is very objective on this topic)
