Is that a dent on the upper left of the barrel on picture number 4? or my eye playing trick on me?

I don't think so, but I took another photo to show the barrel better.

A great looking lens, Sam. Shows pride of ownership.
Plus it is priced reasonably.

Probably the best deal of all supertelephoto lenses, the cheapest and the sharpest-highest IQ (after 200 f/2 ).

Bump for a good seller. This is the best lens Canon makes - I own one, it consistently produces impeccable images. I paid $4300 last year for mine so a like new 300 for $3500 is a great deal.
