***** Canon 1D Mark 2 HAS BEEN SOLD *****


Up for sale is my pristine Canon 1D Mark 2. I'm the second owner of this body. The original owner kept it in amazing cosmetic condition, as I did the same. It can be rated easily at 9.5 out of 10. There's the usual hot shoe brazzing from external flash usage, but the rest of the body is astoundingly clean. The LCD's (top and rear) are scratch, dust, and dirt free. There are a few little scuffs and/or scratches here and there, but aren't noticable unless you really look hard. The shutter button areas (landscape and portrait mode) shows very little wear-and-tear. Like I said, it's in amazing condition from inside and out. Look at the pictures below:

With full disclosure, the shutter assembly failed (with 51,293 actuations) due to a curtain assembly problem (pic below):

I sent it in to CPS (Irvine) in April 2009 to have the shutter assembly replaced with a brand new one. The picture below shows the work order document:

Since receiving it back from CPS, i've added 2,879 shots to the new shutter assembly that's rated @ 200,000 actuations. Since they do not reset the counter, the current actuation count is currently at 54,172 (pic below):
