Hi folks: ![]() so later on in the morning i was taking pictures of bees on beebalm and then a dragonfly lands 2 feet from me with a fly in it's clutches. I actually wish i had gotten a wider shot of the dragonfly, but was pretty happy to get both sets of eyes more or less in focus. #2 ![]() finally, an ok shot of a damselfy. I do see a fair amount of these guys so far this summer. The dragonfly yesterday was the second I have seen all year. I haven't had nearly as much of a chance to be outside, but it seems like much fewer bees too. #3 ![]() Thanks for looking. Hope all are well. |

Nice ones, Tim. Like the dragon and damsel, good work there. All is well in Texas if you don't mind hot and dry. |

Hi Tim! Great drama in no. 2, no 3. has great colours and I like to see the "claws" in focus, too |

Thx, Kenny and Eyvind. Nice to hear from you both too. it's been a crazy summer here - was 95 degrees four days in a row in early june but otherwise has been really cool. |

Nice shots Tim. There is something about hunter and prey that fascinates. Possibly in the approach to the mystery of death, albeit vicariously. |
