Looking for a very sharp 24-70L.....

Because I can buy a new one right now for $1150, I am looking for a used one under $1000.

I am selling a very nice 24-70mm f2.8 (check my FS here on Buy & Sell) Its nice and very sharp except at 70mm and f 2.8 which is acceptable . I use it mainly on my 1Ds mk3 which is brutal on glass. I sent the lens to Canon once to have it checked to make sure it was perfect (nothing was wrong with it I just wanted to make sure it was in optimum condition). Turned out a tad better than before.

Ive got one that I will sell for $970. It is in excellent shape and is super sharp! Selling it because I have an 85mm and a 35mm, I want to pick up a tilt shift and need money!
