I recently attended this free event from behind the fences. I borrowed a friends 28-300mm L lens and was very pleased with it's performance. The tracking focus performed particularly well. Some shots below:

Thanks for taking the time to look and I appreciate any comments or advice given good or bad

Hi Matt

They're too small to really have a good look at but I still like angle of the third one. It looks like it wouldn't work but it is strangely appealing.

A friend of mine used to race Renault Spiders. In fact, I think he won every race one season. He's in WTCC now but is not having a very good year.

Pierre.

Thanks for the comments, I'll see what I can do about them being bigger with no quality degradation, may host elsewhere. It's a shame your friend's having a bad year, sometimes it's the car, the team or changing format that can make life hard

I'm pretty sure it's the extra power of the SEAT diesels that's putting them in front in WTCC. The guy I know has won the WTCC more than once so there's no problem with his driving ability.

Was planning to go to this as had free tickets but unfortunately had a wedding to shoot the same weekend! The wedding paid so that got priority!
