I took a ride this morning to clear my head down by the bay. I found these geese getting all spriffy for the day. I really enjoy when they flap there wings for me.

It made me smile. I decided to not crop these or do anything special to them. I just enjoyed the view this morning

Noelle, I agree with Karl: I wouldn't make it to work in the morning if I stopped to take pictures at such a lovely setting.

Yesterday, my wife and I traveled to get some shots of a Pileated WP (who continues to elude me). There was a pond there and some Canadian Geese preening and cleaning themselves. My wife abandoned me to stay and shoot the Geese, as you have done in these shots. Seems both of you came away with better shots (of your respective Geese) than I managed to get.

I like the first shot the best....looks to me like he is doing the "cha-cha!"

Thanks everyone

I feel the best stress relief for me is photographing the birds.

These are nice behavioral shorts, noelle. I think the male offered the female to scratch her back but it looks like she didn't care.

Very nice Noelle but I'm with everyone else. If I start photographing in the morning I'm going to stay out for the day .

Hey Noelle! Try posting some slightly bigger shots! I'd love to see more on my screen. Nice stretches!
