Well, I am at it again. Back to some birds. This time I figured I'd share some hummingbird pics from this past weekend. These are some fast moving TINY birds! Getting the focus to lock on them was a challenge and quite fun. All of these are with the D3 and 300 2.8 or 70-200 2.8VR wide open and hand held. The background is actually the side of my in-laws cabin in up state PA.

Lil, this was my first time trying to photograph these buggers. Next time I will try for more DOF and perhaps a blossom. Thanks for the input.
