Aww, be nice

All I do is shoot into the sun. It takes some playing around with to get the flare where you want it, but just experiment!

But yes, as jfinite said, put the sun in the photo

Shoot wide open into the sun. Don't stop down past f8 or lower or you won't have much luck.

While avoiding sun flare is usually a good idea, knowing how to produce a "look" is never a bad thing. Knowing how also helps you avoid when you want to get that look as well.
