So I guess my little league baseball season isn't quite over yet. First set of images are from the district championship game. It was played in a nearby town and the fences were 10 ft tall. Resorted to shooting from the balcony on top of the concession stand. It gave cleaner background but somehow I felt disconnected from the action. Home team overcame a 0-6 deficit and won the district championship with a final score of 12-8.

2nd set of images were later on in the afternoon with parts of the field in the shadows. Argh...

All shot with D3 + 400/2.8. C&C welcome.

-John

1 - 6 were from the district game

You captured some good action. You can definitely tell you were shooting above in the first couple, not so much in the others. My favorite is 10, love that face and stride.

John love the action! Will be shooting the D4 11yo MA Regionals this weekend. Lots of games but I'm sure a lot of great expressions and action!

Great job with some tough harsh lighting and shadows. Not so much a fan of the perched shooting position in the first set, but agreed that sometimes ya gotta do what ya can do...

#9 and #10 are my faves in this series... great images! Thanks for sharing mister!

John nice shots here. Colors really pop and it looks like you had to deal with some pretty harsh sun.

Nice series
