This Blue Heron was like no other I have come across, as it let us get very near it. Normally they are quite timid, in fact, even this one took off when another photographer got within 200 feet, (Maybe it was his Nikon 
) yet it let my brother and I get right up close.
5D2 & 70-200/2.8L IS.
I am really happy with these shots... All taken at the long end of the 70-200, however still closer than I have ever been before. Usually I am at the long end of my 100-400 (which I didn't have with me yesterday) to get as tight as this with these skittish birds.
