How many can you spot!

The official shooter doesn't count. He's on the top right.

You've got better eyes than me then because I counted 10 (11 if you include the official 'tog)

I just see a bunch of guests taking pictures, no Bobs or Maries.

Anyone with a camera is a potential Bob.

I see no UB's by my definition .. just guests and family taking some snaps.

Agreed. They look extremely well behaved compared to what's been posted here lately...

Well, if the bald guy with the gear belt is the official shooter, and the guy with the video tripod is ligit, and the rest are all family taking snaps, then......
....
........
... That makes YOU the Uncle Bob.

The tough one to spot is the guy at the very top right in the white shirt. He's showing the pic from his camera to the guy on his left. The other hard one to see is the guy in the black shirt on the right. I'm pretty sure he had a camera too.

I would have flicked a booger at the woman directly behind them, especially if she was popping the flash.

BTW, was this taken @ Meredith College?

People love to take pictures at weddings. This bunch are all keeping a respectful distance. No problem.

No, it's a place near Benson. I forget the name but here's a pic of the outside

oh I quite agree. This wasn't a "slam" at them, rather more of a "where's waldo" kind of post. We had no problem with any "uncle bob's" at this wedding. Even the video guy did a good job of staying out of our way.

Well, if you were the second, then there are 11 snappers. Most P&S, but the blond in the lower left corner has what might be an SLR. The guy in the tan suit in the lower right corner has a dSLR for sure. All the rest are little flat boxes.

Well, if the guy in the white shirt top right has a camera, then that makes 12. I didn't think he was showing anything to the man on his left (camera right), the dude in the mauve shirt and checkered looking tie.

jcolman> Even the video guy did a good job of staying out of our way.

When that happens, I try to thank them for their professionalism, ask for their business card, and express my sincere desire to work with them again in the future. They usually ask for my business card and we both have somebody we can recommend to our clients. This happens about 60-70% of the time with videographers, the rest make the wedding as fun as a root canal. I keep the bad ones' business cards too, for entirely different reasons.
Best,
Andy
