Having three gorgeous mountain national parks in our province, most people think of Jasper, Banff and Waterton when they think landscape.

That is but a small portion of our beautiful province. This was taken twenty minutes from Edmonton, the capital of Alberta with a population of around 750,000.

Thanks for looking.

Hello Dan,

it looks like you are fairly new here. Welcome. This picture is making a very good first impression on me. I like how the road comes from the lower right corner and draws the eye into the picture. You have captured this picture at a nice time of day with beautiful highlights in the sky and on the barn. The exposure is perfect for the situation. I think this is a very moving shot.

I like your placement of the barn better here, Dan, and the overall comp as well. Another lovely sunset!

Alberta has those long, gorgeous magic hours.

This shot is superb.

Definitely not in mountain country here. This is actually what I do think of when Alberta gets mentioned but folks rarely take lots of pictures of flat places. Nice to see one here that is most definitely worth looking at delightful colors and lighting in a nice comp.

Well done.
