Leaf cutter bee using an old hole in the wall. It has already got some bits of leaf in the hole and 2 hours later the hole was sealed with leaves and the bee was filling another hole. So far they have studiously avoided using the provided "bee house" just round the corner

Thanks for looking and commenting everybody - much appreciated.
know I have had leaf cutters active in the garden for a few years ( they like cutting semicircles out of the leaves of just one particular camelia bush) but this is the first time I've found a nest hole being used by one.

Just pleased to be able to see what they were doing with bits of camelia leaves.
